Dr. John Hearn specializes in forensic psychiatry, both civil and criminal, inpatient psychiatry and emergency/triage psychiatry. His research interests include clinical assessment of malingering, phenomenology of hallucinations and other forensic topics. Dr. Hearn is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience, Division of Forensic Psychiatry, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is an active member of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law and the American Psychiatric Association. He has presented nationally and published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters related to general and forensic psychiatry topics.
