Jefferson Elementary School serves students in prekindergarten through sixth grade. The school s academic curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as math, language arts, social studies, physical education, science, instrumental and vocal music, drama, art, computer literacy and vocational arts. It encourages students to participate in a range of extracurricular activities including band and student council. The school s sports activities include football, softball, wrestling, basketball, gymnastics, volleyball, baseball, and track and field. In addition, Jefferson Elementary School operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising activities and book fairs. Located in St. Louis, Jefferson Elementary School is a part of the St. Louis Public School District.
