Hancock High School offers an array of academic courses and extracurricular and athletic activities to more than 500 students in grades 9 through 12. It offers advanced placement and vocational courses. The school s athletic programs include baseball, basketball, volleyball and football. The secondary school s curriculum includes accounting, family and consumer science, marketing, physical education, social studies, English, math and science. Hancock High School also offers classes in foreign languages. It employs counselors who help students to plan their schedules based on career plans and gain admission to institutions of higher education. It additionally maintains a library that provides several online databases and resources. Based in St. Louis, Hancock High School is a part of the Hancock Place School District.
