Founded in 1953, Mehlville Fire Protection District is a subdivision of the state of Missouri. The district offers services to more than 110,000 resident populations, and has seven operation stations. It also has more than 30 emergency vehicles and 145 staff members. It offers a wide variety of services, including fire, rescue and emergency medical services. The district serves multiple apartments, townhouses, industrial facilities, business and office parks, and commercial and retail complexes. Its services also include fire prevention and inspection. The district also offers public education programs that include training classes in disaster preparedness, fire safety, medical operations and disaster psychology, and first aid. Mehlville Fire Protection District is located in St. Louis.
