Provided by YP.comMy 3 dogs are a handful on good days, but DON’T even think about saying “bath” in front of them! I have been coming to Four Muddy Paws for about 5 years. I drive ~45 minutes one way because of their service. My girls are not fond of the grooming, but the staff is very kind & gentle. I am not dealing with full blown panic dogs when they are done. Excellent value for the $$

Provided by YPmobileWas looking for a place for my dog to get a bath. Found out about self wash so I took my dog in for a bath at the lafayette square location. The guy at the register was very stand off-ish and not friendly. Looked at me didn't even greet me but jumped in to ask," you're here to wash your dog?" Then to some up my experience, my dog smelled like "dog" 2 days after the bath from using the store issued shampoo. I asked if I could bring my own shampoo by the brand of Nature's Specialties becuase I prefer to use a more natural shampoo and I was told no because they don't carry it on their selves. Im better off using my tub at home to bathe my dog.

Provided by YP.comI like this store and frequently buy stuff for my dogs there. Yes, it's expensive, but all small, locally owned stores are. They are competitive with their pricing though, if you compare them to other small pet stores in the STL area.
The staff is helpful at times, and other times seem to ignore you, as other reviewers said.
I like that they are able to order stuff in if they don't have it, like collars in a certain size. One things I've noticed is that they definitely cater to larger dogs and over the years carry less and less small dogs clothes, toys, food, etc.

Provided by YP.comThey carry the really 'good' brands of dog & cat foods. In fact, I like all the merchandise in the store. I just wish the staff were a little warmer. Every time I've gone in, I was pretty much ignored. Maybe I'm just spoiled by the fantastic welcome I always receive at another pet srore near by...

Provided by YP.comIts a great place to take your dog. I washed him in their tub and it was not backbreaking since they are raised. My dog loved the treats too
