Epworth Children & Family Services, located in St. Louis, is an independent agency serving children and families for more than 140 years. It provides youth development services and serves over 1,900 youth and families each year by providing emergency shelters and youth emergency services. The agency is approved by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Epworth Children & Family Services offers various programs, including residential and intensive treatment, foster care, family focus, independent living and transitional living programs. The agency provides 24-hour supervision, therapy recreational opportunities, including gym, swimming, art and music, medical care and spiritual support. Additionally, the agency provides special education services for adolescents who have been diagnosed with severe learning disabilities and various disorders.
