Ellen Tracy, DNP, is a board-certified family medicine nurse practitioner who sees infants from birth, teens and adult patients. She provides preventative care, such as annual wellness exams, well-woman visits, pediatric physicals, vaccinations and manages acute and chronic illnesses. She treats a wide variety of conditions, including asthma, diabetes, thyroid disorders, high blood pressure and minor injuries. Ellen decided to specialize in family practice medicine so she can provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She believes in the importance of preventative care and regularly recommends that her patients undergo health screenings to ensure a healthy lifestyle. Ellen is an attentive listener who approaches her patients with empathy and understanding, making them feel comfortable during their visits. Originally from Springfield, Illinois, Ellen enjoys running, traveling, trying new activities and volunteering in her community. Ellen earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Louisville in Kentucky and her Doctor of Nursing Practice, specializing in family practice medicine, at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. This practice is a part of BJC Medical of Missouri.
