Very poor quality carpet, pad is NOT the best in the industry. Installation was not great. Worst of all they DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.

Quality - we had stains in the stain proof carpet. We called several times for them to come out and take a look. Finally someone came out. First they asked what kind of vacuum we use. We have a great vacuum. He told us we had to have the carpet professionally cleaned THREE times before they would do anything. So we did that, spending several hundred dollars. After approximately three months we asked them check the carpet again. After several, five or more calls, and a bunch of excuses and runaround they finally sent out a rep from Mohawk. He did a test two weeks ago and said it would be three days and Edwards would have the results. Three calls later and finally the came back saying they will NOT stand behind their product. WOW.

Also the wear on the carpet is awful. We've only had the carpet for less than 3 1/2 years and the carpet shows wear marks by the door especially.

The pad - they say the pad is the best in the industry. This is installed on plywood and it feels like they left the pad out. We had another company install similar carpet in our basement on concrete floor and that is way more comfortable than what we had Edwards install in our bedrooms.

As for the installation, I had to bend the tacks on the tack strip in the doorway.

Please go somewhere else for your carpet.

Pricing was a good deal, but the installation was disappointing. We were not home when they finished the installation. They did not contact us when the install was complete to come and look and sign off before they left. They took off closet doors and didn't put them back. They removed floor vents and didn't put them back when finished. They broke ceramic tile that bordered the carpet area and would do nothing about it - said it was already cracked when they came. Their install team does NOT vacuum or clean up after themselves when they are done. Very poor customer service from the install team.
