Dr. David Owens is a vascular and interventional radiologist who treats diseases and injuries using minimally invasive procedures under imaging guidance (ultrasound, CT, X-ray). His areas of specialty include peripheral arterial disease, vertebral compression fractures, biliary disease, trauma, interventional oncology, and pulmonary embolism. His research interests include pulmonary embolism and advancements in anticoagulation both before and after treatment. Dr. Owens is an associate professor in the Department of Radiology, , at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and American Academy of Pain Medicine.
