Reviews
Brio at Plaza Frontenac in St. Louis, Mo., remains one of the best restaurants in St. Louis, but it has drifted from some of its signature dishes - their former swooning shrimp pasta and medallions of beef now replaced by less memorable fare. Today, even the ribeye steak listing can range from the best steak you've had in St. Louis for a year to a paper thin junk piece that should not be sold - both true in the last few months. Their small lamb chops still are divine, but now skimped down to make them a small meal for most adults, even with sides. Not sure what is happening to the menu or their chef (or is it their butcher). But I'm hanging in their with Brio, it has to go from good to great again.
