Assisted Health Services, also known as AHS, serves individuals with developmental disabilities in St. Louis. Established in 1997, it is a locally owned and operated health care agency that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The agency provides short- and long-term care services, as well as organizes training programs on topics related to health, nutrition and diabetes. Assisted Health Services offers light cleaning, laundry, transportation and medicine dispensing solutions to senior citizens. It provides respite and personal care services to individuals. The agency s affiliates include the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and Bridges Community Support Services. Assisted Health Services offers temporary staffing services for medical offices, nursing homes, day care centers and hospitals.
