A nice restaurant

This is one of my favorite restaurants for Greek food. They offer fantastic food, good service, and a good value.

We visited their breakfast buf...

We visited their breakfast buffet a few weeks ago and were not impressed. If you can eat all you want, but the food isn't very good, what's the point?

The first problem was the way they have the buffet set up. They have it in the bar, along with a made-to-order omelet station. That area is too small for it. On a crowded, hot Sunday all the chafing dishes along with the open flame at the omelet cooker makes for a Hades-like experience in the restaurant. Especially if you have the misfortune of needing to be seated at the bar.

The buffet food is pretty standard: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits with strawberry or grape jelly, French toast sticks, potatoes, waffles. The main problem here was the blandness of everything combined with he fact that it all gets cold the minute you remove it from the chafing dish. I couldn't have spent more than five minutes putting food on my plate and everything was a sad room temperature by the time I sat down to eat.

The best part about their brunch is the omelet bar. They have several add-ins for you to choose from and the resulting omelet will be hot and good. Though I do have to add that the cook didn't quite understand English well enough to fully get my order and added olives to mine, which I hate.

All in all, I think you'd be better spending breakfast at IHOP, Denny's or Waffle House if you want a cheap meal. At least there you know the food will be hot and the A/C will be cool.

A Great Place For Lunch

I workin the cunty, my wife in the city. We meet at Ari's for the great food and to keep in touch. You half expect to see a Greek guy coming out with a violin, the place is so romantic. We love Ari's!
