We love the food and personal service we get at Nelly's. We just moved to the area 1-1/2 years ago and have spent quite a bit of time trying to find a local Mexican food restaurant that we really like. This one fills the bill! It has great food and reasonable prices.

We are spoiled and get to eat Mexican food from all over the country, and Nelly's was neither the best nor the worst. The salsa and chips were good, and the chile relleno was as well. But, the meats in the chile verde and the ground beef, chicken, and cheese enchiladas tasted like canned meats, and the sauces with each were very bland. The fajitas might have been much better. We will order that the next time we come through. The serving sizes were small also, even though they come on huge plates. The enchiladas are made with taco size tortillas. Restaurant is very clean and service very good. Prices were reasonable. Wish they offered margaritas, but the beer was ice cold. Like I said, not the best, but not the worst either.

The HOT PORK BORITO is to die for. The chili reollos are better than what I had in Takati Mexico.Nellie hand makes the food and it truely shows.Simply the greatest in town!
