I've been a patient here for several years with Dr. Terhune. I have been completely satisfied with the care that I have received here. One reviewer gave a low rating because of the look of the place and how long they have to wait to be seen. I have no problem with the look of the place and they do have a good selection of magazines to read while waiting. My appointments require a urine test before seeing the Dr. It takes some time for these tests to be performed and probably accounts for much of the wait.

I gave 2 stars for the look and upkeep of the place. As for the service, maybe a 1. No matter what time your appointment is, you always end up waiting at least a 1/2 hour to be seen. Dr. Terhune, like many Lakeland physicians, is a nice enough guy, but a cold, uncompassionate doctor. For them to not give out pain meds for IC patients, is mind boggling. If for one day, they had to experience the painful spasms of IC, I'm certain their perspective would change, dramatically. They want to send you to a pain clinic, that is already filled up with patients who need them for joints, bones, muscles and therapy, but yet keep giving them your money once a year. No thanks. So glad they aren't heart specialists, but maybe it would be good for them to visit one.
