The St. Cloud Fire Department conducts offers a range of fire prevention and suppression services. It maintains five fire stations and operates full-time and volunteer suppression divisions. The department provides HazMat team coverage for a three county area, including Stearns, Benton and Sherburne counties in Minnesota. It also houses a chemical assessment team. The St. Cloud Fire Department s services include firefighting, confined space, airport and rope rescue services. It also provides emergency medical response assistance. In addition the fire department conducts public education and training activities. Its apparatus includes several pumpers, tankers, brush units and engines. The St. Cloud Fire Department also offers fire inspection services.
