Mathew Hall Lumber Company supports suppliers who replant eight trees for each one they harvest. The lumber company is one of the major players in the construction industry in central Minnesota. It is also one of the top 400 lumberyards in the United States. In 1996, Automated Builder listed Mathew Hall Lumber Company's Component Division as one of the top 100 component producers of roof and floor trusses in the United States. The component division produces trusses for a five state area dealing in residential and large commercial projects. Mathew Hall Lumber Company started in St. Cloud, Minn., on the west bank of the Mississippi River in 1889.
