- RobberyMr. Moosbrugger has had a distinguished career in the field of Criminal Law. After starting in defense work in the metro area, he took a year-and-a-half position as an Assistant County Attorney. While there, he prosecuted a large volume of criminal cases and learned about criminal prosecution techniques. He sharpened his jury trial skills with trials on numerous felonies, gross misdemeanor DWIs, and other cases he tried during his tenure there. Then in 1985, he was offered a job with a noted criminal defense firm in St. Cloud and has worked in various positions in the criminal defense field ever since. In the positions he has held, he has defended hundreds of clients in criminal cases. He has tried jury cases for First Degree Murder and other degrees of homicide and attempted homicide against the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office and against county attorneys in Stearns and other central Minnesota counties. He has also tried jury cases for Criminal Sexual Conduct, Bank Robbery, Kidnapping, Felony and Misdemeanor Assault, Burglary, Theft, DWI, and many other felony and misdemeanor and traffic cases. Born and raised in Minnesota, he has practiced law in central Minnesota since 1984. He understands the people he works with and connects well with juries.
- Burglary• An acquaintance of our client accused him of breaking into her house and forcing sex on her while she was sleeping. The next thing he knew, he was arrested for Felony Burglary and Criminal Sexual Conduct and was looking at several years in prison if convicted. The case involved DNA evidence, finger prints, and other forensic evidence. He felt overwhelmed and frightened. He and some friends had socialized with her at her home earlier that evening, and when they left everything was fine. It was a hard-fought trial, but in the end the jury found my client innocent on all charges. Case closed.

- Assault• After receiving a Domestic Assault ticket, this new client heard about me through another one of my clients. An Assault on his record could mean the end of his job. The prosecutor offered a good deal, but my client did not feel it was right that he should have to plead guilty to something he did not do – no matter how good the deal was. At trial, jury found my client Not Guilty.
