- Medical MassageTui Na is a system of medical massage and bodywork that developed in conjunction with acupuncture to alleviate pain and dysfunction. While considered a bit more “aggressive” and forceful than some other systems of massage, Tui Na is uniquely effective in treating pain and injury. Techniques range from basic massage to advanced skeletal manipulation similar to Western Chiropractic. Tui Na is often used in China as part of physical rehabilitation from injury as well as recovery from severe conditions like strokes and traumatic paralysis.

- AcupressureMichael Geppert began his path towards becoming a healer, strangely enough, through training in the martial arts. Studying martial systems like Okinawan Ryukyu Kempo and Tai Qi, Michael learned that areas of the body could be manipulated to weaken potential adversaries – particularly along the acupuncture meridians. He became interested in the healing aspects of these same points, and studied informally for several years under Richard Chandler of the Acupolarity Wellness Center. Learning about acupressure and massage gave Michael tools he used to help family and friends with minor complaints like headaches and back pain. But he knew if he wanted to help people professionally, he would need formal schooling.
- AcupunctureMoxibustion is a traditional technique that involves the burning of Chinese mugwort (Ai Ye), a small, spongy herb, to facilitate healing. Moxibustion has been used throughout Asia for thousands of years. The actual Chinese character for acupuncture, translated literally, means “acupuncture and moxibustion.”
