Not the place I thought it should be. I was in contact with the school administrator for more than one month, regarding enrollment for my kid. Based on all conversations we had, I was lead to believe that my kid will have a spot on the class. Come to find out few days before the school starts, we can't register because of the age. Really..... because they knew the age all along. Even I was told, he'll not be the only one at that age, as they will have others on that age range. " It will be a young class this school year" -the administrator's word. Very disappointed on the services they provide. Not the way to conduct business, specially when they are in the business of taking care of the kids and they are not.

This place hasn't had a review in 2 years, must not be that "great" of a place for our children of tomorrow. I think the first review is fake & written from an "insider" if it were all that & a bag of chips of a school/ day care, 10-20 reviews should be posted.

Miss Deborah and the teachers of Love and Peace Montessori change and touch the lives of children daily. I am blessed that my two sons had the exceptional educational foundation that Love and Peace provides. I researched 19 child care facilities in Macomb County and had almost given up hope until I walked into Love and Peace. The school is clean, warm and inviting. My children were cared for and nurtured lovingly. The confidence and security of knowing that my children are in a wonderful, secure place while I am at work is so comforting. The fact that they are head and shoulders above their age level academically is the icing on the cake. They entered Catholic school reading, writing, solving math equations and inspired to learn because of the exceptional care and attention they received at Love and Peace Montessori" with Miss Deborah.

We are blessed to have found such a wonderful place for our sons. "Love and Peace Montessori" is a gem located in Saint Clair Shores. The school is clean, bright and welcoming.



"Love and Peace Montessori" contains specially designed, manipulative materials for development that invite children to engage in learning activities of their own individual choice. Under the guidance of Miss Deborah, children in the classroom learn by making discoveries with the materials, cultivating concentration, motivation, self-discipline, and a love of learning.



Healthy eating is stressed and encouraged. The children are offered a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables for snack. The children plant a garden and eat the foods that they have grown. They are able to bring in and eat their breakfast at the school in the morning.



Miss Deborah plays the piano and music is an integral part of the program. I am amazed at the independence, practical and learning skills that are taught and put to use daily. The children are learning, in a caring and fun environment.
