Thurston Middle School provides educational programs to students in grades six through eight. It offers classes in English, math, science, social studies, geography, physical education, music and Spanish language. The school provides Title 1 and special education programs. Thurston Middle School maintains a band and organizes fundraising events. It also offers counseling and speech therapy services. The school features a library that maintains a range of books.
