Our home in Beach Haven seems to be built pretty well but we cannot get warranty issues taken care of by Landon Homes. I have sent numerous emails over two months that have been ignored, talked with the office many times only to have nothing happen. The main office has hung up on me three times even though I have never raised my voice. I have talked with the Landon Homes construction supervisors who see the problems but nothing comes of it. All I am trying to do is to get things done right as they should be when purchasing a new home. The first problem is the gutters were hung too low and was a design flaw that Landon Homes came up with. After our home's gutters were installed the installer later on told me that our home was the last one constructed this way due to incorrect installation. The second problem is that the kitchen counter top broke and was replaced with the wrong color that is two to three shades off. Every Landon Home employee that has seen it says that it should be replaced as it does not match the other three counters. Again, nothing happens. The owner of Landon Homes, Dennis Ginder sold Landon Homes recently so I called the main office at Landon Homes to find out the name and email address of the new owner to let him know what is going on. They hung up the phone again after a simple request for information. I cannot recommend them as a builder for this reason. Here is what they say on their website: So, our philosophy is simple Do the right thing even when no one else is watching. If it is wrong, fix it. One size doesnt fit all. Build the best home for the money. And most importantly, listen to our customers and do our best to build a great house while making the process a great experience. This is not true!
