Community Home Health is a hospital-based agency that provides a range of personal care services in Florida. It is a part of Almost Family, which offers home health nursing, rehabilitative and personal care services for senior citizens. Founded in 1976, Almost Family maintains operations in more than 10 U.S. states. It provides a variety of physical, occupational and speech therapy services. The health care system administers various specialty programs, such as home orthopedics rehabilitation, urology, cardiac and palliative care, and senior care and polypharmacy medication management. Almost Family participates in several local organizations through contributions, outreach programs and special events. It supports various commercial insurance, private pay, and federal and state government health care insurance programs. Almost Family also operates Mederi Caretenders, Florida Home Health and Apex Companion Care.
