- Dental ExaminationWe encourage all of our patients to visit us at least once every six months. During these routine appointments, we will provide a thorough dental cleaning and exam to make sure that your smile is in good health. Depending on your individual dental needs, you may need to come to our office more often.
- X-raysTo make your visit as pleasant and brief as possible, there are a few things you should bring with you. Please bring any dental X-rays from the last six months to your first appointment.
- Teeth CleaningWith sedation dentistry, you can relax while we focus on your smile. Sedation can be used for everything from cosmetic procedures to simple tooth cleaning. Ask your dentist at your consultation for more information.
- Fluoride TreatmentIn-house bleaching is a revolutionary tooth whitening procedure that is very safe and effective. In just over an hour, your teeth will be dramatically whiter. The in-house whitening procedure is simple; it begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums. The dentist then applies the whitening gel. Teeth typically become several shades whiter, sometimes more, depending on the original shade. Following the initial whitening, a fluoride treatment is applied. A few days after the in-house treatment, most patients see additional whitening of the teeth. Take-home trays with whitening gel are recommended for maximum results and maintenance. We guarantee you will be amazed with your new smile.

- VeneersVeneers are a way for you to take back your smile and fix discolored, chipped or decaying teeth. A veneer is a porcelain, tooth colored shell that is placed as a cover over the front of an individual tooth to restore its bright and healthy appearance. While it’s a common solution to these issues, a consultation is still necessary to determine if veneers are right for you. The process of receiving a veneer involves removing a layer of enamel from your tooth, which means it’s irreversible. Veneers can still stain or chip, so your dentist may recommend you stay away from certain foods and drinks to keep them looking fresh.
- CrownsWhen left untreated, the damaged pulp can cause extreme pain or lead to an abscess. An endodontist, however, can save the tooth by removing the infected/inflamed pulp. The area is then cleaned, shaped, filled, and sealed. A follow-up visit is required for your dentist to place the crown, or other restorative treatment, to protect your tooth and restore it to full function.
- BridgesThe typical life span of a fixed bridge is 10 years, but it can last longer with good oral hygiene and regular checkups.
- Restorative DentistryDr. Rastogi feels that dentistry is both an art and science, two things that she loves deeply. She feels she is an empathetic person and dentistry gives her the opportunity to connect to people. As a pediatric dentist, she helps develop confidence in a frightened child and helps both the child and the parent feel at ease. She is so happy to be able to bring smiles to the faces of the children she gets the opportunity to work with. Other than restorative dentistry, a few of her specialties include her experience in working under different levels of sedation. She also has experiences in performing hospital dentistry and behavioral management in infants, toddlers and children with special needs.
- Root Canal TreatmentThe most common dental work an endodontist performs is microscopic root canal therapy. Each year, millions of teeth are saved through this type of endodontic treatment. A root canal is necessary when the pulp (the soft tissue inside the tooth) is infected or inflamed. This can be caused by a variety of issues, including...
- ApicoectomyDuring root canal treatment, the canals are cleaned and infected tissue is removed. In some cases, however, infected debris may remain behind and prevent the tooth from healing. When an infection develops after root canal treatment or retreatment, an apicoectomy may be required. In an apicoectomy, the root tip, also known as the apex, is removed with the infected tissue. A filling is placed and the end of the root is sealed. An apicoectomy is only performed if the tooth has had at least one root canal already.
- DenturesOur denture process begins by examining the entire mouth. We need to assess the health of your teeth and jaw, and to determine which teeth, if any, can remain. Partial dentures can be created if there are natural teeth that are healthy and strong enough to remain in the mouth. Complete dentures are made when all teeth need to be extracted. Following the extraction of the loose or unhealthy teeth, there is an adjustment period. Your gums will need to heal and you will need time to adjust to your dentures. Once accustomed to the dentures, however, you’ll enjoy full functionality and an improved appearance.
- Dental ImplantsDo you have missing or damaged teeth? If so, you may experience issues with biting, chewing and speaking. Tooth loss and tooth damage may also contribute to other health problems, such as headaches and muscle pain. This is in addition to the physical changes that your facial appearance will undergo. The best thing you can do for your confidence, and oral health, is to replace any missing or damaged teeth as soon as possible. For most patients, dental implants are the perfect solution.
- Oral SurgeryWisdom teeth are the last set of teeth to develop. They often become impacted, resulting in swelling and pain. The gum tissue surrounding the wisdom teeth may also become infected. Left untreated, impacted wisdom teeth can cause permanent damage to nearby teeth, gums and jaw bone. In most cases, oral surgery is recommended to remove the impacted teeth.
- Maxillofacial SurgeryOral and maxillofacial surgery focuses on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of various injuries, diseases and defects that affect your face, mouth, teeth and jaws.
- Tooth ExtractionsBetter Than Extraction – Although implants may initially be more expensive than tooth extraction, in the long-term they are a healthier, more cost-effective choice. Why? If you remove a damaged tooth and do not replace it, the bone surrounding the empty space will deteriorate over time. It also leaves the adjacent teeth more susceptible to decay and injury. Therefore, we never recommend removing a tooth without replacing it.
- Ridge AugmentationFollowing a tooth extraction, dentists may perform a procedure known as ridge augmentation, which helps recreate the natural contour of your gums and jaw. This is done by placing bone graft material in the empty socket created by the extraction. Next, the gum is placed over the socket and secured with sutures. Although it is not medically necessary, ridge augmentation is required to rebuild the height and width of your alveolar ridge prior to dental implant surgery.
- Bone GraftingImplant special can not be used in conjunction with dental insurance. Additional Implants or other implant services are subject to regular fees. Discount will not be given for Extractions and/or Bone Grafting. Offer does not apply to ANY existing implants already underway. (ADA Codes: D6010, D6056, D6058)
- Invisalign Orthodontics® is only used in teens and adults. Those with baby teeth still present are not candidates for this type of orthodontic treatment. The most common oral health issues treated with Invisalign
- Braces®. You’ll spend less time in the dentist’s chair and more time doing the things you love. More importantly, most people won’t even know you’re wearing braces!
- Teeth WhiteningThe increased demand for pearly white teeth has led to the proliferation of individuals offering teeth whitening services without a dental license. Don’t risk damaging your teeth by using those fly-by-night whitening services at the mall. White teeth do not automatically equate to healthy teeth. Before using any teeth whitening service/product, consult with your dentist to ensure your teeth are healthy enough for the treatment and remain so afterward.
- Cosmetic DentistryChipped, cracked, discolored, and even missing teeth can all be addressed through restorative dental treatments. Depending on the extent of damage, we may recommend one or several of the following cosmetic dentistry solutions.
