Cheri Pius sold Carosel Kids Consignments in January, I had been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I had been dropping off the maximum 25 items per week with her for the previous two months. I had seen Cheri many times there. She never made any mention of the store being sold. A friend told me she saw a notice on Facebook that Cheri had sold the store and it would officially close the end of that week. I immediately emailed Cheri to ask what was happening. She assured me she would send me a check for all my items sold with her. She stated most everyone else was leaving their items with the new owners. HERE'S THE PROBLEM. Cheri sent me a check. It was about a forth of what I was expecting. I rarely took a payout check, so this small amount was SHOCKING. She told me she could not provide me with a breakdown. She contacted her attorney and she did not owe me anything else. AS FOR MY ITEMS AT THE STORE, she told me the new owners would be responsible for paying me for their sales. The new owners said Cheri should have paid me. Now I am out not only the money for the items, but the new owners will not give them back to me. SO in my opinion, it is dishonest old owner versus dishonest new owners. It is my belief that all made a conscious effort to be deceptive and dishonest . It is my opinion that Cheri Pius is a complete crook and should be ashamed of herself. This is a topic of conversation at the soccer fields every week. It is a common mantra that we all hope that KARMA works. If you are wondering why my wording may be weird.....the new owner of the store told me her husband was an attorney, so be careful.
