The Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy is an educational institution that offers a range of learning and extracurricular opportunities for students. The academy has an annual enrollment of more than 580 students. It serves students in grades 6 through 12. The Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy s academic curriculum includes science, mathematics, and language and visual arts. The academy supports the National Junior Honor Society, as well as has chess, pep and shi clubs. It offers opportunities for students to participate in various sports activities, such as football, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, swimming, and track and field. The Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy also maintains a student-parent advisory council. It administers gifted and talented education programs for students with special needs. The academy is governed by Saginaw Public Schools.
