The Safety Harbor Public Works Department is responsible for the administration and supervision of sanitation, wastewater, water, streets and storm water divisions. It also offers a range of street maintenance services that includes resurfacing, grading, sidewalk installation, mowing and tree trimming, as well as the repair of potholes, shoulders and curbs. In addition, the department maintains and installs traffic and street signs. Its storm water division is responsible for street sweeping and the maintenance of ditches, swales, creeks and ponds within the city. The department s wastewater division repairs and maintains sanitary sewer systems. The Safety Harbor Public Works Department also provides collection services for yard waste, mattresses, appliances and furniture.
