General Info

The drive-in theatre experience first came to light on June 6, 1933. That was the day Mr. Richard Hollingshead, opened the first drive-in theater in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey. A few others quickly followed but the trend only truly took off with the advent of in-car speakers in the 1940s. Families still flock to our drive-ins for great entertainment at an incredible value. But when you come to a West Wind Drive-In you'll experience more than just a great movie. You'll experience the drive-in รข?? a unique and historic slice of Americana.

This place in nasty! How can the health dept let it stay open? It used to be a great place awhile back but now it is just a homeless camp. Do not waste your time here as it will take you over an hour just to get in. The food is disgusting. We ended up just getting some popcorn and bought our drinks at the corner store as thier soda machines do not work. We had to drive through three different movies to get to our movie, it was very confusing. So after missing half of our move due to the long lines in both the ticket booth and the "snackbar", we tried to complain about what was going on and were told to watch the movie or leave. We left and will never come back. Oh and I have to give this rating 1 stars because it wont let me do none.

One of the last remaining Drive-Ins, this place will take you back to your childhood when your parents loaded you up in the car with pillows & blankets. Of course you never made it to the second movie. A great deal in this day of $10 movie ticket prices. Where else can you pay $7 (depending on what day you go on), bring in your own food & beverages, set up camp with lawn chairs & blankets, and get to see 2 Hollywood Blockbusters?

The location is perfect for its right off of Hwy-50 and you cant miss it. When you get in its not confusing and if its not a busy night there is plenty of parings with a great view and the reception is great. The staff if descent and you get to see two movies and save some money had you gone to the movie theater.
