Founded in 1957, Townsend & Schmidt Masonry specializes in commercial, industrial and public works projects consisting of bricks, blocks, stones and thin brick veneer construction in the Sacramento Valley area of California. It employs between 15 to 50 bricklayers and mason tenders each day depending on project scheduling and weather conditions. The company has industry links with Androy Design, California Conference of Mason Contractors Associations and Masonry Industry Training Association. Some of its completed projects include Baron Memorial Hospital, Central Park Aquatic Center, Farmers Rice Cooperative, Lincoln Gateway Center and Maidu Interpretive Centre.
