• Divorce
  Divorce Mediation is a process which brings spouses (or other people in conflict) together with a neutral professional (the mediator), whose only job is to aid and support the negotiations between them, so they can reach agreement.  Acting as your Mediator, Mike provides useful information about the relevant law, helps you develop creative settlement options, and guide you through your negotiations.
• Child Support
  Child support is an entitlement for children, and is neither deductible from the payor’s income, nor includable in the income of the recipient for tax purposes. In California, all Courts use a formula known as the statewide guideline, and uniformly use support programs to make those calculations.
• Child Custody and Visitation

• Premarital Agreement
  Pre-marital agreements, also known as prenuptial agreements, are agreements in anticipation of marriage, and which specify financial rights and responsibilities during marriage, and in the event that divorce occurs. Premarital agreements must comply with the provisions of California law to be enforceable.
• Spousal Support
  Temporary spousal support may be calculated by the use of a formula, and exists to ensure that a newly separated spouse is not financially disadvantaged by the separation. Temporary support usually continues until a Judgment is obtained
• Legal Separation
  A Judgment of Legal Separation resolves all custody, property, and support issues, just like a Judgment of Dissolution, but at the end of that process, the parties are still married to each other.

• Bankruptcy
  Hellen J. Hernandez is the President and owner of Sacramento Divorce Solutions, Inc.  She has over 20 years of family law experience, and handles the firm’s litigated family law matters in Sacramento and adjacent counties, with a focus on complex financial issues and trial work. She is bilingual (Spanish). Hellen’s legal career began in 1997 as a legal assistant in a Sacramento bankruptcy law firm.  In 1998, she began working for Mike as his legal assistant, and has worked for him ever since.  Hellen attended night school to finish her education, obtaining her BA degree in 2008, and her JD from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento in 2013.
