A friend of mine took his car in for tires, he got the tires, but they told him all these things were wrong with his car , it came to $575.00, then they proceeded to tell him more things were wrong with his car, this time it cost him, $1,257.00 and they were to throw in a free alignment. He got his car drove home, it sounded terrible, ran really rough and it kept pulling to the right,(which he told them before(. Thus, no wheel alignment was done! . Plus they told him they needed to replace his rear axle, of course that would be another over $1,00.00) the second time he went back). They also told him he needed a ball joint that would cost him $200.00. along with a rear tire and several other things needed to be done. I talked him into going to my mechanic and none of the things they said they did had not been done, also the cost of a ball joint is $20.00. After getting the repairs done at my mechanics shop, only cost $ 515.00, car runs great. They didn't tell him he needed new fans.
