My husband and I went to this JImboy's for dinner this evening and was insulted by the cashier. When we entered we were spoken to in Spanish and my husband informed the cashier that he did not understand Spanish to please speak to us in English. We were responded to with another Spanish comment, then he replied that he did not give a ____. My husband replied that we did not have to spend our money there and proceeded to inform the young man that we did not have to be back in that establishment. Upon leaving my husband said to me that this is what he served his country for to be insulted to when he defended everyone's right to be free. I felt very sad to think that this young person insulted my husband, a veteran, just because he asked to be spoken to in English.
