  Mr. Lyons was admitted to the California Bar in January 1969 after obtaining his J.D. degree from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in June 1968. He was a Professor of Law at his alma mater as well as a criminal defense lawyer, handling 8 death penalty jury trials and a total of 25 murder trials. He was also an Administrative Law Judge for 10 years, hearing cases involving disability applications for the Sacramento County Employees Retirement System before joining Wilcoxen Callaham.

  DANIEL E. WILCOXEN received his JD, cum laude, from U.O.P. McGeorge School of Law in 1972, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1972. Mr. Wilcoxen practiced with the defense firm of Rust & Armenis for the first 7 years of his law career before leaving to open his own practice in 1979 where he began his emphasis in representing injured plaintiffs. He is the founding and senior partner in the law firm of Wilcoxen Callaham, LLP. The firm handles a variety of cases: all types of personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice, business, discrimination, and wrongful termination employment cases. Mr. Wilcoxen also handles the day-to-day management of the firm’s 11 lawyers and 15 staff members. Over the years, Mr. Wilcoxen has obtained in excess of 100 multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements.

  Edward S. Deacon graduated from Humboldt State College with a Bachelor of Arts and subsequently attended McGeorge School of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctor in 1986. He has been a litigator for over 25 years. He began his legal career as a defense attorney and joined Wilcoxen Callaham in 1990. He has represented clients in state and federal courts in personal injury matters ranging from relatively minor injuries to catastrophic life-changing traumas, wrongful death, employment discrimination, nursing home negligence, products liability and civil rights claims. He has participated in numerous arbitrations, mediations, and trials resulting in millions of dollars in compensation for his clients.
