I have been seeing Dr. Elder since 1993 when I fell down some stairs carrying a large television. Many people think once a chiropractor gets a hold of you, that's it. But back pain does tend to come back again. Researchers estimate that 50 to 80% of people who have an encounter with acute low back pain will have a recurrence within a year. I cannot tell you how many times over the years I have either crawled into his office or walked in like an old man, and walked out pain free. (My problem is that I am too active and I hurt myself with the sports I do.) He always knows just where it hurts before I tell him. (How does he DO that??? He is almost a god in my eyes.) I know I never could have lived with the pain I've been in... and I can ALWAYS count on him fixing it. Go in early as soon as it hurts and you will have better luck. Remember: You do not have to live in pain.
