Asian Pacific Community Counseling is a community-based, nonprofit agency that works to promote the well-being of individuals and families through culturally and linguistically relevant, relationship-based counseling. It supports various outreach, prevention and educational programs with an emphasis on Asian Pacific Islander communities. Incorporated in 1977, the agency provides mental health counseling and supportive services to southeast Asian, Filipino and Pacific Islander communities in Sacramento County, Calif. Asian Pacific Community Counseling offers assessment, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, home visitation, language and cultural interpretation, consultation, advocacy and family networking services. Located in Sacramento, Calif., it also provides short-term intervention referral services.
