It is a privately held corporation headquartered in Sabetha, Kan. and has about 25,000 square meters of manufacturing facilities. The company specializes in the manufacture of commercial extrusion systems ranging in size from small laboratory and research applications to very large production applications with capacities as high as 22 tonne/hour. In addition to 14 sizes of single screw and twin screw extruders, the firm specializes in the manufacture of commercial and industrial continuous dryers and toasting ovens. Wenger also manufactures industrial mixers for blending food and feed recipes and ancillary equipment such as flaking rolls and enrobers, which apply various seasonings or sugar to snacks, cereals and other foods.
