The richly restored inn was founded, designed, and built by the Morton Salt Heiress, Mary Tilden Morton. Her creation reflects warm, old-California roots with exquisite 19th century barnwood beams, creamy textured hacienda walls, marble and wrought iron accents, and artisan decorative elements.
