Operational since 1886, Stowe Woodward, a division of Xerium Technologies Inc., has been in the business of manufacturing rubber and wooden metal covers. Based in Concord, N.H., it fabricates rubber, polyurethane, ceramic and composite covers for steel rolls through its rolls cover technologies and roll refurbishment services for papermakers. The ISO 9001:2000 certified company uses data from paper manufacturers monitoring systems to develop new materials. Serving the paper, film, textiles and metal coil application industries, Stowe Woodward has partnerships with Sandusky Papermaking Machinery, Praxair Inc. and Coldwater.
