La Calh ne markets, designs, fabricates, installs and services standard and custom equipment to protect its customers products from contamination by the external environment or to protect its customers facilities and personnel from potentially dangerous products. The company was founded in the mid-1960s when it did containment work in the nuclear industry. It has since evolved to offer products in the health care, electronics and food and beverage industries as well. Some of these products include isolators, manipulators, transfer devices and packaging. La Calhene was established in France and maintains facilities in the United States and the United Kingdom. Its office in Rush City, Minn., markets products to North America and South America.
