I am a Certified Farrier, a professional who specializes in the care and maintenance of horses' hooves. The services provided by my company and I typically include: 1. Trimming: trim the hooves of horses to maintain their shape and balance. Regular trimming helps prevent issues such as overgrowth and imbalance. 2. Shoeing: we shoe horses by fitting and nailing horseshoes to the hooves... Not fitting hooves to the shoes! Horseshoes provide protection for the hooves and help support the horse's weight. They also help horses in their performance such as Reiners, Rarrel horses, Breakaway horses, ect. 3. Corrective shoeing: we can provide corrective shoeing for horses with specific hoof or gait issues. This involves using specialized shoeing.
