Heart of America Medical Center, located in Rugby, N.D., offers a wide variety of health care services and serves more than 13,000 people. It partners with the Johnson Clinic and also offers a health maintenance organization for insurance needs. The agency was established in 1910 by a group of ministers, and it is a nonprofit medical center that is sustained by more than 30 area churches of all denominations, such as the Good Samarian Hospital Association. Heart of America Medical Center offers various medical services, such as hospital services, including more than 30 private rooms, birthing rooms and nurseries, major and minor surgeries, intensive care unit and certified trauma emergency care services.
