An event and business public relations company, IMJ Communications, LLC was founded by Jeanne Micallef in February 2004. As president of the company, Micallef brings with her several years of public relations experience.With a diverse background that ranges from automotive to live entertainment, the mission IMJ Communications, LLC is the same: Provide clients with top-notch public relations support that will get an individual, event or corporation the exposure they seek. The press that will get them noticed.Micallef began her career in public relations working as an assistant in Ford Motor Company's public affairs department. After leaving Ford she accepted a position with the marketing communications firm Versacom, Inc, a supplier for Ford. Her responsibilities included assisting in the creation and editing of promotional materials created in-house, research, creation and distribution of internal collateral materials, and general administrative duties.The next step in Micallef's career led her to Olympia Entertainment, Inc where she worked in the publicity department for seven years. The last position she held was public relations manager. During her years with Olympia, Micallef was responsible for creating and executing publicity plans for all live events that played the organization's owned and operated venues, including the Fox Theatre, Joe Louis Arena, Cobo Arena, Comerica Park and the Second City. She was also responsible for working on corporate public relations.
