Central Boston Elder Services is a nonprofit corporation that offers a wide range of senior citizen services, and short- and long-term care programs. It organizes a variety of programs, such as social work, adult and community education, family health care and literacy. The center offers individual and group counseling services. It also organizes special programs for children suffering from psychiatric problems, and foster placement, and substance and child abuse. The center also organizes entertainment programs that include creative, social and physical activities, hobby classes and community educational programs. It additionally organizes camps and school programs, such as group discussions, drug and alcohol prevention seminars, and child and money management. The center offers 24-hour health care services. Central Boston Elder Services is located in Roxbury, Mass.
