General Info
We are secluded, but conveniently located within walking distance to Round Top’s historical town square where you will find restaurants, shops, art-galleries and the world famous Festival Hill Concert Hall, along with its beautiful gardens. Our Southern Dog-Trot or Breezeway House allows for spiritual comfort and a close experience with nature. The rooms are steeped in history. Reclaimed barn wood beams cross the ceiling. Spectacular long-leaf pine flooring dates back to 1864 and comes from a Presbyterian Church in Galveston. The bathroom paneling is recycled snow-fence wood from Montana. The room is decorated with uniquely painted furniture and items from where I grew up in the Black Forrest of Germany. Everything in the house has a story. The property is less than a mile from the historic Round Top, Texas square, home to shops, restaurants, and entertainment. You're also just a walk away from the world-famous Festival Hill Concert Hall and its beautiful gardens. We are secluded, but conveniently located within walking distance to Round Top’s historical town square where you will find restaurants, shops, art-galleries and the world famous Festival Hill Concert Hall, along with its beautiful gardens.
