I have no idea of OFCU's functionality as a bank. Perhaps their efforts for their clientele is as good as is available. Their customer service is zilch if you are attempting to reach them by telephone. It is now 4:58 pm and I have been on hold with their phone system since approximately 4:05 pm. I heard how important my phone call was to them repeatedly all of this time. Apparently my phone call wasn't very important to them. At 5:00 pm they disconnected from me and I got a dial tone. My efforts were of the utmost importance to me. It concerned the financial well being of a single mother with 3 year old quadruplets. She is destitute. I wanted to wire her money to keep her from losing her home. Perhaps Otero is the wrong company to hope for any compassion in such situations. I realize they were unaware of her needs. Approaching an hour is asinine to be kept on hold without a single apology. If your needs involve any customer service, then it might behove you to look elsewhere.
