- Oral Cancer ScreeningOral cancer screening includes a careful examination of the entire oral cavity for any kind of abnormal cell growth. This is done by a professional dentist who will check the lips, gum tissue, inside lining of the check, tongue, the palate, throat and the tonsils for any abnormality. Sometimes, a visual examination alone is not enough to identify the symptoms of oral cancer. Therefore, we may suggest a few tests to be sure that there is no danger of oral cancer. The common tests for oral cancer screening are blue dye test and dental examination with light.

- Resin CompositeWe are pleased to provide our patients with tooth colored fillings made from either porcelain or composite resins. They are the same color as your teeth! This makes them look much more natural in your mouth and also means that your mouth will remain “mercury-free”.
- VeneersPorcelain veneers are thin wafers of porcelain, about half a millimeter thick (the thickness of a fingernail) that are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a smile makeover. They create a beautiful result. Porcelain mimics a tooth’s structure better than any other restorative material. It is harder than enamel, so it resists wear and tear and can last for many years. Dental artists can manipulate the color and translucency to re-create the look of any tooth. And it resists stain better than tooth enamel. Very rarely will it discolor, unless the surface has been damaged.

- BridgesDental bridges are false permanent teeth that are used for filling dental gaps caused by missing teeth. They are usually anchored to the adjacent healthy teeth with cement and resin or metal bands. There are three types of dental bridges – fixed, cantilever, and resin bonded. The quality of the teeth, position of the dental gap, and condition of the teeth at the two sides of the gap decide which type of dental bridge is suitable to replace the missing teeth.
- Root Canal TreatmentRoot canals are the cavities that exist inside the walls of a tooth. When there is tooth decay, the pulp may be in danger of permanent damage. In these situations, root canal treatment may be required to save the tooth before it decays further and is irreparably damaged. During a root canal procedure, the pulp is cleaned and the pulp cavity is filled in order to prevent an infection from developing in the tooth. This procedure will should quickly relieve your toothaches and stop any infection from progressing.

- DenturesDentures are removable prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth, and are supported by surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. A full denture, also called a complete denture, replaces all of the natural teeth and provides support for cheeks and lips. By replacing missing teeth, dentures not only support sagging facial muscles, but also improve a person’s ability to speak and eat. Full dentures are divided into two categories – conventional and immediate – depending on when they are made and inserted into the mouth.

- Tooth ExtractionsOnce impacted, wisdom teeth can cause complications including infection, crowding, damage to other teeth, cysts that permanently damage the jaw and other complications. There are cases as well where the wisdom teeth penetrate through the gums, possibly at an awkward angle, also necessitating wisdom tooth extraction. While it is difficult to predict whether your impacted teeth will cause such damage, it is highly likely complications will arise.
- OrthodonticsChildren should see an Dentist who specializes in Orthodontics by age 7 to advise if orthodontic treatment is required and it is the best time for that patient to be treated. The first permanent molars and incisors have usually come in by that time and crossbites, crowding, and other problems can be evaluated. Early treatment can simplify later treatment.
