- Medical Weight LossIf your lower back pain follows a sudden fall or impact, or you develop a fever, new, sudden bowel, or bladder problems along with the pain, we advise calling your medical doctor immediately. You should also contact a medical doctor if your back is red or swollen, if pain is constant, or very severe, is accompanied by tingling or numbness in one or both legs, or occurs along with a sudden and unexplained weight loss.
- Primary CareChiropractic care is specifically covered under Medicare part B. At our office we take most Medicare plans. Some of these plans, including Kaiser and Sutter, may require authorization from your primary care physician. Cost of treatment varies per plan, co-pay, and deductible but generally they are under $20, with some exceptions. He has also been a guest lecturer at the University of California at Davis in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department. He continues his acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine education by attending annual continuing education classes. He is married and has two sons.

- UltrasoundWe typically perform spinal manipulation in which the spine is gently aligned into the proper position. However, we also use a variety of other lower back pain treatments as well, including ultrasound therapy and electric muscle stimulation. We also recommend certain therapeutic exercises and stretches to help you heal faster. At Accident and Sports Injury Clinic, we also offer other therapeutic services such as acupuncture and massage therapy to facilitate healing. This allows us to recommend the ideal treatment for your particular issue, as all lower back problems are a little different.
