Island View Family Care Home is a residential, assisted living care home that offers 24-hour assistance with day-to-day needs including assistance with bathing, dressing grooming and toileting Our residents enjoy an inter-generational family atmosphere.that emphasizes the joys of human connectivity and propagate longer and happier lives. We are animal friendly with cats, dogs (even a bird!), children and grandchildren aplenty! We organize holiday and birthday parties - encompassing children and animals to ensure our residents are never lonely. Residents have access to a communal dining area and TV lounge, and an outside patio garden with raised gardening beds.We have specified dining options such as vegetarian, diabetic or low sodium options. Services include incontinence care for bladder-related symptoms. Services for residents with dementia/lack of awareness issues ensure residents are well directed and supported in a healthy lifestyle WE provide ADL assistance, medication administration, or support self-medication. A licensed nurse is on site to administer injections as needed. Living options and amenities: 1 bedroom units Communal dining area/living room Wheelchair accessible Free cable/wifi Medical Care: We have a Podiatrist and an on-call medical doctor to handle adjustments in medication, continued consultations and urgent medical needs to ensue our residents are fit, mobile and happy. All services are provided by licensed staff 24/7 and an on-site RN.
