Romano's Restaurant in Des Plaines Il offers some of the finest Italian food in the Northwest suburban area. Their thin crust pizza is the best I've ever eaten. If you are a non smoker stay away as their air cleaning is almost non existent. Their artificial trees has so much dust that anyone who bumps into the tree leaves on the way to their table , dust falls n 10 tables at the same time. Wait staff improperly handle bread, and hold glasses by the rim. Knowledge on what's on the menu is poor, order mix ups are common. Plus they serve food that is rotted, ice cold, so dry out, tasteless or overcooked. The kitchen staff clearly has no idea what they are doing and the owner.management does not care. Very poor quality on everything.
