I wasn't sure what I was looking for in a preschool, but after our tour at The Children's Corner, I knew I had found it! From day one, all the teachers were amazing. They all knew my daughter's name within the first week, and she would tell me every day about how nice everyone was. It really does feel like you are leaving your child with family. Their location is on a quiet residential street, in a warm and welcoming building where each room has been decorated to express the creativity of the teachers and students. The opportunity of music class is amazing. Every Wednesday, my daughter would sing me the songs they learned for the entire ride home. The frequent events such as concerts, holidays, and parties really help to create a community among the parents. Their amazing flexibility can not be overstated. On the rare occasion I needed to send my daughter in a different day of the week, every effort was made to accommodate my request. Simply the best!

Good curriculum, and very dedicated staff. My oldest daughter (now in 4th grade) had attended this school when it was located in West Orange. She has fond memories about the school and the teachers, and she volunteered to participate in some of activities organized or hosted by the school. Mr Robert and Ms. Mary facilitated an easier integration for our second daughter last year, and Ms. Jen has helped her to make great progress this year.

My son just started and he loves school. When we went on our tour we fell in love with the school right away. even though it was a break for and prep time for the school we felt more welcomed. everyone is so nice. right now he goes 2 half days a week but I have the feeling that will increase soon. If you are looking for a friendly energetic and caring pre-school you found it with Children's Corner. :-)

The Children's Corner is one of the best preschools in northern New Jersey. My son has been attending the Children's Corner since September 2010 and is about to start kindergarten next week. The Children's Corner has not only taught him to read, write, his numbers, letters and colors - things most kids only start to learn in kindergarten, they have helped to develop a strong, independent, self confident kid. He is a great kid - yes I am slightly prejudiced - and the Children's Corner had a big part into making him such a great kid. The teachers are phenomenal and the proof is in their longevity. When my son started at the Children's Corner three years ago his teacher was Ms. Alex - as he graduated his final teacher was Ms. Alex. Needless to say - we love Ms. Alex! The teachers stay because it is such a great school. Don't pass this one by - check it out. You won't regret it.

Children's Corner has been a wonderful place for both of my sons to blossom. They are nurturing and understanding with the children making my shy one feel at home and giving my outgoing one a place to explore and be courageous. The focus on academics is age appropriate, providing the children with both the opportunity to sit and learn but also learn through play and interaction with each other. Ms. Jen, Ms. Mary and Ms. Shana are amazing, caring and incredibly attuned to their students. They really care about the children and go out of their way to make sure they are safe, comfortable, and thriving. Ms. Shana makes me feel good about leaving my son with someone else despite all his food allergies and he loves it there. The teachers give daily written feedback about the children as well as progress reports throughout the year. The reports of my children make it clear that the teachers see them as unique individuals with their own special attributes and areas to develop further.

The most caring and creative teaching staff I have encountered at a preschool! I feel so comfortable leaving my son each day. He is surrounded by nurturing teachers who help him to associate school with a caring and fun place to learn. I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful environment for my son to learn and make his first friends. I can only hope that we stay in touch after we move on to kindergarten. A child is a living piece of your heart and soul. One of the earliest hardest decision we have to make is where to leave our child for childcare/preschool, and I am so glad I chose The Children's Corner, it is a loving, warm and nurturing place. The teaching staff is incredible! My child has attended this school since she was about 20 months old, she has surpassed my expectations, and she looks forward to going to school each morning. It is a wonderful thing to know your child is happy, safe and is learning while having tons of fun each day. Great school.

My son has been at the Children's Corner for two years. We love it for its warm and thoughtful teaching staff, flexibility, and community spirit!

We have been with the Children's Corner a little over 2 years and love it! Ms. Jamie is fantastic with her students and mostly importantly my son loves being in her class. The school's flexibility to work with the parent over a broad spectrum of areas makes it an ideal choice for us. We have been with a variety of preschool's in the past and Children's Corner is by far the best!

From the first moment we took a tour we felt at home. Our son loves The Children's Corner and the entire staff. We are amazed at how much he is learning and he is constantly suprising us at the things he has learned at school.

Ms. Mat has been absolutely wonderful with our child. She is patient, caring, and insightful. Ms. Mat has birthed in our daughter a desire to learn and she enjoys being in her class tremendously. Thank you, Ms. Mat, for all of your hard work and efforts. You are greatly appreciated!!!

Our son has been attending the Children's Corner for the last nine months, and he loves it! He's so enthusiastic about going to school, and he comes home talking about the numbers and letters that he learns. He also really loves his teacher Ms. Kerry. The school is very encouraging for parents to get involved - we were able to come in and read a story to the children during Dr. Seuss week. Children's Corner is a great place!

This is just perfect! Very flexible and family oriented, we just love it....My son is very excited about going there every time. We particulate adore Ms Jamie, she is the sweetest person in the world. Very patient and dedicated to each child making them feel special and confident. The Director: Mr. Robert is also great. He always works things out, to make sure your child gets the attention and help he/she needs. We are very pleased with everything they provide.

The children's Corner has truly been one of the most wonderful experiences our family has shared since moving to West Orange, NJ. My main concern was finding a school (this place is much more than a day care) for my daughter. I wanted to make sure she had the best care available and we found it, we are very happy here and we feel as if we are part of a family. I love the staff.

I love this school, everyone there is as nice as can be, and very professional. I trust them completely with my two children. Plus the facility is very clean and spacious, and the management is super friendly, too. Their program is appropriate and I get feedback daily. I have checked out a bunch of other schools and I am convinced that this is the best school for my family.

My son loves going to school here. I am so pleased that they have moved into their new location. Now it is a great school with a wonderful building and awsome outdoor playground and indoor gym. My biggest complaint is my the trouble I have getting my son to go home every evening. Thank you to Mr. Robert and Ms. Norma for such a warm family atmosphere and a great teaching staff.

This preschool/daycare center is the best kept secret in West Orange. Everything done is done because of a love of teaching and a love of children. My children were safe, loved, and stimulated. The curriculum is creative and effective. My children were well prepared for Kindergarten.
