We went to the brass pelican on the night of 8-3-14.When we arrived here we were told that their would be a 1 to 2 hour wait just to get our food. We have been regulars here for the past two years. We asked if their is something they could do for us, so we could eat and go home happy. And they said couldn't.They didn't even offer to give us salads to make us happy.
My husband and I make sure to visit your establishment every year when we stay at the River's Edge Hotel for our annual Cedar Point trip. The staff is always friendly and the food is amazing! And the drinks are just what we need after a long day at the park. Thanks for being our bar away from home! I always recommend your bar to anyone I hear is going to Cedar Point and needs a quaint town to stay in and go to a friendly environment for some fun!

My husband and I were in Huron for New Year's Eve and dropped in at the Brass Pelican during the day. The staff were very friendly; drinks too good and the fish awesome. Good value for the money. The day was dreary but still a good view- huge windows look out on the river. We live about 3 hours south and will make a trip up this spring to visit the Brass Pelican. The crowd was like a neighborhood gathering; nice,& respectful. Fine for families. Only draw back- when the door to the deck is opened it gets drafty and cold in the eating area. Still a great place to eat and enjoy the day.

Food is great but dont use your credit card to pay unless you want the bartender to tip herself on it. Also had to ask three times to just get a glass of water and finally I asked someone else who actually was nice enough to get me a glass.
Bringing back the good old days only with the charm of dining on the river. Great food and good service. Only thing missing is the peanut shucks on the floor.
